Folky fantastic vintage 1970's maxi dress by Betty Barclay, in black wool crepe fabric.
Superb seventies frock with rounded notched neckline, long blouson sleeves with gathered elasticated cuffs and little tie details, and darted bodice with seamed waist and flattering peplum detail around the hips. The bodice and sleeves are decorated all the way around with bright green, orange and red folky embroidered patterns of diamonds, loops, circles and triangles - a nod to aztec design!
Flared a-line skirt.
Fastens at the back with a plastic zip, fully lined in black acetate fabric.
Excellent quality dress in superb shape.
