This beautiful vintage 1950's evening dress has a hint of the Wild West about it!
In elegant black floral lace, this frock has a fitted internally boned bodice and straight neckline with pale salmon pink taffeta pleated trim and straps.
Under the seamed waist, the skirt flares out to the hem and has five bands of black velvet around the hips, each decorated at the front with a bow. The hem of the skirt is trimmed in matching pink taffeta, scalloped black lace and a band of black velvet to match the hips.
Bodice is fully lined in black acetate, and the skirt is fabulously layered for fullness with black mesh net, black acetate and then a cream muslin petticoat with tiered hem!
Fastens at the back with a plastic zip.
A wonderfully nostalgic dress, ultra-flattering shape.

In good vintage condition, but there is a small hole at the pink taffeta neckline and light soiling to the straps/neckline which should clean out with a little TLC. Price reduced accordingly. The lace is in great shape, a gorgeous well made vintage frock!
