Mad Men style original vintage late 1950's day dress, ideal for Goodwood Revival or sexy office chic!
Beautifully made and superb quality day dress in black and lilac tweed wool with bright violet flecks. Fabulous hourglass shape with bracelet length dolman sleeves and diamond gussets to the armpits.
Notched neckline with insert panel at the base, and flattering bodice design with seamed waist and long fringed sash which wraps around your middle and rests across the left hip. Sexy fitted pencil skirt with hip darts for shape, and a neat pocket at each side.
Bodice is fully lined and skirt is part lined in gorgeous contrasting sugar pink acetate fabric. Fastens at the side with a metal zip.
Labelled "Continentals, size 16, hips 39" - but no way a 16 now - more like a UK 10 - 12 on the waist! The label is really cute, in bright yellow and featuring a suitcase with exotic place names!
