Truly beautiful vintage black lace evening gown from the 1970's, by After Six for Ronald Joyce. Wouldn't look out of place in a movie like Gone with the Wind - it exudes old fashioned romance!
In sultry black floral lace, with narrow lace shoulder straps, fitted bodice with bust darts and gorgeous fluted nylon and lace trim around the neckline and back.
Long black velvet bow sash around the waist, and seamed waist with little tucks and a-line flared long skirt.
The hem of the skirt is trimmed with three layers of black mesh net, ruffled and edged with fluted nylon and lace.
Comes with a matching optional shawl as pictured, which is a triangular shape with ruffled lace trimmed edges.
Fully lined in black acetate. Fastens with a zip at the centre back, and is labelled as a size 12, but fits more like a current UK 8.
