Very rare, collectable and sought-after vintage open-toe sandals, for various reasons - they are original 1940's shoes, they came from Harrods - the world's most famous department store, and they are marked with the wartime CC41 utility mark stamp on the soles!
In black velvet, these chic sandals have four straps across the toes, with another slingback strap at the heel with elasticated panel for a comfortable fit.
They have leather lined insoles which still show the makers logo 'Harrods Ltd London', and they have leather soles stamped with the CC41 utility mark (see both close-up pictures).
The chunky classic 1940's heels are a manageable height for dancing in too!
Worthy of a museum, totally wearable and bound to increase in value so a sound investment too!
