Burlesque beauty of a hat by Kangol, dating circa late 1970's, in sumptuous black velvet.
Oval pillbox style with ridged crown and short open mesh black veil to trim all the way around the edge. Decorated at the back with a decadentlayered black nylon chiffon rosette with twisted velvet trim.
Elastic strap to hold in place. Lined inside in white acetate fabric with black grosgrain ribbon edging. Labelled "Kangol design, made in England".
