Simply superb mod flower-power 1960's vintage original dress in wonderful quality white textured quilted LANVIN cotton fabric, with a pop-art pattern of polkadots and whimsical flowers in indigo, emerald green cerise and azure blue.
Bright green trim edges the armholes and the v-neckline. Fitted bust with cross-over design and darts for shape.
Fitted panel around the waist with belt loops (but no belt) and lovely slightly flared skirt with hip darts.
The quality of this dress and of the fabric is wonderful, as you'd expect!
Fully lined in white acetate with a metal back zip to fasten.
This amazing vintage dress is a little bit of a mystery, as although it is fantastic quality and clearly a costly item when originally made, it has no Lanvin label at the neck. However, the fabric is signed with the Lanvin name and logo on the seam inside (see close-up picture) - reading "tissus Sontange creation "Lanvin" Paris".

In superb condition. No makers label but the fabric is signed inside (see close-up picture). ALso we believe the blue trim at the hem has been added on to lengthen the dress slightly, but could easily be removed if you prefer. A fantastic museum quality collectable vintage frock!
