Wonderful vintage 1980's super-glam evening gown by Laura Ashley - ideal for a prom or special occsion!
Very flattering hourglass shape bodice in soft black velvet, with shaped boned bust and low back, fitted to just above the knee.
Below the knee, the dress fans out into a fantastic fishtail hem, gathered and shimmering in petrol blue taffeta. At the back the hem is decorated with a large taffeta bow in matching fabric.
Nylon zip fastening to the centre back. Fully lined in black poleyster fabric with a gathered layer of stiff back mesh net under the fishtail hem for that fantastic shape.
Labelled "Laura Ashley, made in Great Britain, 100% acetate with 100% polyester lining, size 14" - although this gown is more like a UK 10 today!
