Tremendously chic, cute and stylish vintage original MARY QUANT dress in 100% black crepe wool fabric. A fabulous vintage dress from an iconic designer of the swingin' sixties!
This is the ideal dress for the colder weather. It has long sleeves, puffed at the shoulders with light inserts for shape, and cute pointed collars with button fastening placket down the front to the hem. There is a gathered yoke detail at the front of the shoulders, decorated with rows of bright green, red and yellow rick-rack.
At the seamed waist is the original matching button fastening belt, and the flared skirt is in panels with two pleats opening out each side from mid-skirt. There are two large rectangular patch pockets on the skirt each side, both decorated with the same colourful rick-rack trim.
Labelled inside at the neck 'Mary Quant's Ginger Group, made in England, pure new wool, dry clean only'.
