Elegant vintage two piece suit from the 1960's, comprising of a curvy sleeveless cocktail dress and matching short jacket. Both items are in champagne cream brocade with lurex-threaded copper and gold patterning. The sexy flattering cocktail dress has a wide boat neck, bust and waist darts and fitted waistband. Hip darts give the skirt a slightly tulip shape, and the back of the bodice has a deep v-scoop with two ruched and tapered swathes of fabric each side from the shoulder to the waistband. There is a back slit with insert panel to the skirt and the dress fastens at the back with a metal zip. Fully lined in cream fabric. The matching short jacket fastens under the neck and has an eastern style stand collar with real fur trim, bracelet length sleeves and bust darts for shape. It is fully lined in pale apricot fabric.
