We adore Dollyrockers dresses, and this beautiful empireline babydoll mini dress certainly has one of the prettiest prints we've seen.
Dollyrockers enjoyed much popularity in the sixties and seventies for their Liberty print frocks and hippy peasant dresses. Their in-house designer was Samuel Sherman, who was known as 'Sambo'. Pattie Boyd modelled frocks from the label, which was certainly a favourite of swinging London!
The print on this little cutie certainly looks Liberty-inspired, if not actually by Liberty. In deep cerise pink cotton, it features art nouveau swirling tendrils in green, with bright orange blooms.
Short sleeves with double-tiered frill cuffs, scoop neckline to the empireline bodice, and mock button placket to the centre bust with three faux pearl buttons to trim.
Flared a-line skirt gathered under the underbust seam. Metal zip fastening to the centre back.
Labelled 'Dollyrockers designed by Sambo, made in England'. Labelled as a size 14, but more like a UK 10 today on the bust.
