Petite sized gorgeously chic and feminine vintage dress suit from the late 1940's, comprising a flattering frock and neat matching bolero jacket, all in lovely quality thick pale lavender crepe.
The chic dress has cap sleeves, double stitched pleats from the shoulders which open out at the bust and are stitched down to the nipped waist, and three matching plastic buttons to fasten below the v-neckline.
Metal side zip fastening and belt loops at the fitted waist to add your own belt.
Two stitched down pleat details which open out into the front skirt each side, and one each side at the back.
Matching short bolero jacket with bust and waist darts, 3/4 length sleeves and neat collars with delicate white glass beaded design and hook fastening at the neck.
Labelled "Emmar, Mayfair, London".
Very elegant, flattering and chic set - gorgeous with a brown felt forties hat and babydoll heels!

Over all in great condition for its age - the little petal shaped beads on the collar have arched a little from age and there is a very faint mark to the back of the dress (hidden when bolero is on) but otherwise a lovely chic forties set.
