This amazing, rare and head-turning original vintage 1960's mac is so fantastic that we are still not sure if we can face parting with it ...
Clearly inspired by the 1960's space-race, which spawned futuristic fashions, films (think Barbarella), homewares - well, everything really!
Double-breasted mac with shiny silver metal buttons, bust darts for shape, fitted waist and flared skirt. Back belt detail from the sides which meets around the back with two more shiny round metal buttons. Pleat detail each side at the back hem and slit pocket at each hip.
Fully lined in pale pink acetate, made in England.
The label inside is nearly as fabulous as the jacket itself, and reads "Astramac by Weathergay" with a picture of a rocket blasting off to outer-space - GROOVY!
An iconic piece of futuristic sixties fashion which is sure to increase in value, so a worthy and very wearable investment piece!
