Astounding vintage green goddess of a dress from the 1950's - red-carpet worthy, show-stopping fairytale vintage at its best!
Made from stunning deep and vivid emerald green jacquard fabric with a pattern of black branches.
Halterneck strap and fitted boned bodice with three large fringed bows to trim the centre panel.
Amazingly constructed gown with a multitude of fanned seams angled around the bodice from bust to hip, which curve and splay and open out around the hips of the voluminous full skirt (see third picture for side view).
This beautiful gown is fully lined inside and has a double-layered black calico stiffened underskirt for shape, with a strip of metal hoop to add extra form.
Fastens with a metal zip to the centre back.
You won't find a much more glamourous vintage dress than this - truly exquisite!

Over all in wonderful vintage shape - there is a small frayed tear measuring approx 1cm, about 4.5" up from the right side hem. A few faint marks on very close inspection. Boning to the bodice has snapped in one place but could be replaced or renewed. All in all, a very rare, stunning red-carpet worthy vintage gown!
