Adorable vintage early 1970's suit by Dorothy Perkins in dark brown polyester with a pretty meadow flower print in pale green, old gold and deep coral.
The lovely fitted jacket has long puff sleeves with contrasting cream cuffs and cream curved Peter Pan collars. Three chunky brown plastic buttons fasten down the front, and the jacket has a tapered in waist with ties to fasten around the back for a flattering fit.
The matching skirt is a-line in fit, with a 1.5" wide waistband and back zip/button to fasten.
Labelled Dorothy Perkins, made in England, 100% polyester.
Really pretty suit, taking inspiration from the 1940's and perhaps also inspired by seventies iconic boutiques Bus Stop and Biba!
