Elegant and sweeping vintage late 1940's evening gown in beautiful tangerine orange acetate fabric.
Flattering shaped with wide gathered and pleated neckline, fitted bodice and tapered-in waist, with the skirt flaring out into a full circle from waist to hem. Gorgeous for dancing in, very chic and a great price for a frock of this age!
Fastens at the back with a metal zip. Labelled 'Warwick House of Malvern'.
Will make you want to twirl all night.

Overall in very good vintage condition, but a few minor points: the pleated neckline could do with a bit of tidying up as it is a little scrunched, there are a few faint marks/tiny catches on the back of the bodice where some poppers appear to have been removed, and there are some minor marks around the hemline. There is also a small 2" tear along the very edge of the hem, an easy repair job. We have reduce the price of this gown accordingly, but it is still in good condition for its age!
