This original vintage forties day dress in is in blue, pink, yellow and white printed cotton with a classic 1940s floral print. Like many dresses of the era, this has been nicely home or dressmaker made, and it is in great shape for its age.
Classic style of the era with short sleeves, v-neckline and small chest pocket to the left bust. Popper fastening to the waist, with four clear faceted glass decorative buttons. Metal zip to the side seam, and nipped seamed waist with original matching hook fastening belt with glass button trim.
Flared skirt with cute little kickpleats around the hem, making good use of the fabric pattern! Lovely soft lightweight cotton fabric.
