Spectacular vintage late 1960s/early 1970s maxi coat by Elgee of London, in thick black wool with raised jacquard chenille velvet pattern (think carpet coat/tapestry coat - luxurious, warm and super elegant).
Stevie Nicks level glam with dramatic hood, and eleven black plastic domed buttons to fasten down the front. Flattering shape with fitted bodice and sweeping flared skirt. Fully lined in black acetate fabric.
Black cotton velvet trim to both the hood and hem (possibly added by the original owner).
Goth / Victoriana / Steampunk / Psychedelic!
