This divine vintage 1960s couture wedding gown is made by Ellis of London, and could also be worn as an evening gown for special occasions.
In white crepe chiffon, it has short sleeves, scoop neckline and empireline bodice with full circle skirt pleated at regular intervals around the empireline seam.
The bodice is heavily embellished with a trellis of silver and white seed beads, faux pearls, silver and pearlescent white sequins and claw set rhinestones.
The back of the dress is low-cut, with bow detail concealing the nylon zip fastening. Fully lined in white viscose fabric.
Labelled 'An Ellis Couture Bridal Gown, made in England. 100% polyester, 100% viscose lining.'
A wonderful quality elegant vintage gown.
Over all in superb vintage condition. There is evidence that this gown has been let out slightly at the sides and back on close inspection - however this is hidden by the fabric/bow at the back.
