After starting her own label in 1964, Gina Fratini's popularity soared when she was favoured by royalty in the early 1970s. This fabulous and rather daring vintage 1970s evening down has a sheer black chiffon dropwaist bodice with gold metallic tinsel flower design, piecrust collar and black velvet ribbon trim.
The skirt is in floaty black chiffon with black acetate lining. Popper fastenings down the back bodice, and zip to the back skirt. Labelled 'Gina Fratini' at the back of the neck.

In very good condition over all, but there is a 1 1/4" tear just above the hem to the chiffon layer of the skirt at the back right. Not obvious, priced accordingly.
