This lovely late 1940s crepe cocktail dress is in navy blue, with elegant bodice in matching peekaboo swiss lace fabric.
Cap sleeves, rounded shaped neckline and curved underbust seam to the front with tiny stitched chevron pleats to the midriff front and back.
Seamed fitted waist with a garland of swiss lace to trim the skirt, and lovely fanned sash detail to the hip. Pleat detail to the back hem.
Metal zip to the side seam to fasten.

In very nice vintage shape over all - there is a slight bit of fading to the left shoulder (see photos) and a small mark to the back of the skirt near the pleat, but otherwise in lovely shape for its age.
