We had to share this little gem with you all! Nestling amongst some of our unworn deadstock vintage garments was this original 1970's childs' Batman top - well, sort of... Proudly emblazoned 'CATMAN' across the top of the bat image, we thought at first that it was just a rather silly misprint - until we noticed the odd names given to the other well known Batman characters - 'The Dude', 'The Ace', 'Double Talk' and 'Cat Girl'! We're guessing that this was a seventies licensing issue, but very amusing nonetheless. If this had been made in adult sizes, we think it would have been a best seller!
