We're go-going insane with excitement about the Hipsville 1960s garage weekender!
Featuring a wild selection of international bands, DJs, go-go girls, gorillas and groovy movies, this weekender is unmissable for fans of wild authentic sixties garage rock.
The party is happening over the weekend of 10th - 12th May 2013 at the Bisley Pavilion in Surrey, an amazing venue which will make you feel like you've stepped back in time - yes please!
All the action takes place in a themed ballroom, and you before the evening's events you can relax in the Hipsville Tiki Lounge bar to the sounds of 1960s exotica, whilst sipping on a cocktail or two.
Bands include Wild Evel and the Trashbones (Austria), Suzi Chunk (UK), Les Bof (France), The Archers (Sweden) and King Salami and the Cumberland 3 (UK). And with international DJs from garage rock clubs in Germany, France, Norway, Italy and the UK you can be sure of an eclectic selection of sounds to keep you dancing all weekend long. There will be a vintage market on the Sunday so you can shop til you drop for sixties threads, records, curios and other treasures.
Accomodation is available on-site and is suitably eccentric - there's a choice of camping (for FREE!), chalets (Hi-de-Hi style!) or even B&B rooms in kitsch wooden lodges.
Earlybird weekend tickets with free camping are available for a bargain price of just £47 (£10 discount from the full price of £57) and chalet or B&B accomodation can be booked separately.
Visit the Hipsville website for more information and to buy your tickets. See you there, hipsters!
